Emoji Font Generator

This tool works differently from every other style on the site, and understanding why saves you a confusing surprise. Each letter you type is swapped for a regional indicator symbol — 🇦 through 🇿 — a set of 26 characters Unicode created for exactly one job: encoding two-letter country codes. Put 🇯 and 🇵 next to each other and every modern phone fuses them into the Japanese flag. Your name, in other words, is being spelled with flag parts.

The flag-merge effect

Because pairs fuse automatically, a converted word can sprout national flags where you least expect them. "Brandon" starts with 🇧+🇷, which any emoji font collapses into the Brazilian flag, and "GG" becomes the flag of Guernsey. Sometimes that is a happy accident. When it is not, put a space between letters — 🇼 🇮 🇳 — and each block stays separate. Only pairs matching a real country code merge; combinations with no assigned flag remain individual blocks.

How the blocks render

Unlike the math-alphabet styles elsewhere on this site, these letters are emoji, so their look follows the emoji set rather than the text font. Apple, Google, Samsung, and Twitter each draw a lone indicator their own way — generally a capital letter in a coloured or outlined box — which means a friend's phone shows the same word in a slightly different costume. On Discord they map to the :regional_indicator_a: shortcodes and have become the standard way to spell out reactions and poll options under a message.

Where they work — and where they get rejected

Emoji letters shine in the free-text world: WhatsApp statuses, Instagram captions and comments, Telegram group titles, Discord messages. The honest limitation is username fields — most account systems and many games refuse emoji in handles outright, so treat this as a style for what you say rather than what you are called. For a name that needs styling, the bold or gothic alphabets pass validation far more often. One practical note: each block is a supplementary-plane character, so tight character limits fill up roughly twice as fast as with plain letters.
